Sustainability: innovation for a resource-saving future

Unsere textilen Verstärkungsmaterialien werden für leichte und belastbare Composite-Bauteile entwickelt. Je nach Konstruktion und Anwendung können sie dazu beitragen, das Bauteilgewicht erheblich zu reduzieren und eine lange Nutzungsdauer zu erreichen. Gleichzeitig arbeiten wir daran, Materialverluste in unserer Produktion zu verringern, Faserreste weiterzuverwenden und unsere Umweltprozesse an den Standorten systematisch zu verbessern.

Certifications

Unsere Umweltmanagementsysteme sind nach DIN EN ISO 14001 zertifiziert. Darüber hinaus nimmt SAERTEX am Umweltprogramm ÖKOPROFIT teil. Im EcoVadis-Rating 2026 wurde die Nachhaltigkeitsleistung der SAERTEX Gruppe mit Silber bewertet.

Recycling and continuous process optimization help us to conserve resources and avoid material waste.

Lokale Lieferketten & „In-Region-for-Region“ Strategie

Wir produzieren möglichst nah an den Märkten unserer Kunden. So können wir Transportwege verkürzen und regionale Lieferketten stärken.

Materialoptionen mit biobasierten und recycelten Bestandteilen

Neben Gelegen aus Glas-, Carbon- und Aramidfasern entwickeln wir auch Lösungen mit Flachsfasern sowie Produkte mit Bestandteilen aus recycelten Materialien.

Alternative MATERIALIEN

Neben Glas- und Carbonfasern entwickeln wir auch Gelege aus biobasierten Flachsfasern. Darüber hinaus setzen wir für ausgewählte Anwendungen mineralische Basaltfasern ein.

Mit unserem SAERcore RC bieten wir eine Produktlösung mit einem Kern aus 100 % recyceltem Material. Damit erweitern wir unser Portfolio um eine Materialoption, die technische Leistungsfähigkeit mit dem Einsatz recycelter Rohstoffe verbindet – für unterschiedlichste technische Anforderungen unserer Kunden.

RETHINK - RECYCLE

Production offcuts are inevitable - waste is not. We view leftover materials not as disposal, but as potential. By recycling valuable fiber resources back into the process, we support a circular approach to composite manufacturing and actively reduce our environmental footprint.

1. Collect

Fiber residues are extracted during the production process.

2. Sorting

Sorting by thread, fibers or fabrics.

3. Reprocessing

Established processes for glass and carbon fiber residues.

4. Granulate

Example WIPAG: thermoplastic compound (PP or PA) with 10 to 40% carbon fiber content.

5. End product

These include, for example, automobile fittings or snowboard bindings.
